Halloween comes to Australian Reptile ParkPublished on 31 Oct 2018
Animals at the Australian Reptile Park – both cute and scary - have appeared in a cheeky video presented by the Central Coast wildlife sanctuary to celebrate. Many of the different residents of the park are showcased getting into thespooky spirit and celebrating the holiday!
Featuring carved pumpkins, fun props and some scaly creatures; the video includes many of the iconic favourite residents at The Australian Reptile Park, including a real devil! (Tasmanian Devil of course). All animals can be seen getting into the true spirit of Halloween, it’s impossible for the hairs on the back of your neck not to stand up as you see the Rattlesnake slither through skulls.
General Manager and conservationist Tim Faulkner says, “We love Halloween here at The Australian Reptile Park! We’re always celebrating the creepy crawlies and more dangerously deadly animals here and what better day to celebrate them than the scariest day of the year!” Faulkner continues, “More importantly, if a cute video like this reaches the right people and encourages them to learn about our koalas, wombats, Tasmanian Devils and native wildlife – that’s considered a huge win for me!”
The Australian Reptile Park is a hands-on zoo located in the natural bush setting of the Central Coast of NSW, only 60 minutes from Sydney or Newcastle. Enjoy live entertaining shows, themed exhibits and interaction with many of the wildlife sanctuaries residents. The Park is open daily from 9am-5pm, with complimentary parking and BBQ facilities.
