Travel Alert


As at 1 June 2020

The NSW Government has confirmed regional travel in the state will be allowed for any reason, including holidays, from June 1 2020. Restrictions and recommendations remain in place regarding social distancing and the number of patrons who can be in a business at any one time.

Travel restrictions are currently in place for Australia in line with recommendations from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee. Up to date state travel information can be found on Destination NSW’s website: https://www.visitnsw.com/travel-information/travel-alerts

Good hygiene recommendations include:

  • Washing your hands often with soap and water, including before and after eating and after going to the toilet
  • Covering your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue
  • If you are sick, avoid contact with others and stay more than 1.5 metres away from people
