School Holiday FUN - Adventure Zone

It’s time to GET WILD and GET ACTIVE at The Australian Reptile Park!

These school holidays (Saturday 28th Sept 2019 - Sunday 13th Oct 2019), The Australian Reptile Park will be turning into an action-packed ADVENTURE ZONE!

In a celebration of getting outdoors and having fun, visitors will experience non-stop exhilaration and adrenaline in the ‘Adventure Zone’ with hands on, fun activities including an inflatable obstacle course, bungee trampolines and a jumping castle to make memories that will last a lifetime.

ADVENTURE ZONE:

JUMP like a kangaroo on the jumping castle, RUN like a dingo in the inflatable obstacle course & FLY like a lorikeet on the bungee trampolines. All Adventure Zone activities are included with entry!

 

BABY ANIMALS:

Spring has sprung and it’s baby animals galore! Visitors will be able to see baby Tasmanian devils, koalas, kangaroos, alligators, birds and possums. You can even get your photo taken with a Tassie devil joey!

 

LIVE SHOWS:

Continuous live shows provide an entertaining day out for the whole family, with over 10 live shows every day of the school holidays including the re-commencement of alligator feeding following their winter hibernation. Plus, see the popular daily interactive walks with Hugo the Galapagos tortoise, Komodo dragons and dingoes.

 

ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS:

Get up close and personal with some of the stars of the Australian Reptile Park! This 20-minute hands-on experience gives guests the chance to go behind the scenes and interact with these animals in a one-of-kind encounter you will never forget. These holidays, meet our Tasmanian devil joeys, Hugo the Galapagos tortoise, Komodo dragons, dingoes or tour our snake and spider venom areas! Learn more

 

KEEPER FOR A DAY:

Kids itching to be mini zookeepers can join our Kids 2 Keeper programs to get exclusive behind-the-scenes access and learn how to be a zookeeper. Kids 2 Keeper programs cater for children of all ages with programs for children aged 3-6 (Mini K2K), 7-12 (Little K2K) & 13-18 (Big K2K). For the young at heart, the Adult Keeper for a Day experience is back by popular demand for adults (18+)!

 

AUSSIE BUSH WILDLIFE SLEEP OUT:

Friday 11 – Saturday 12 October 2019. Wake up surrounded by nature and wildlife at the Australian Reptile Park’s Aussie Bush Wildlife Sleep Out! Guests will experience the thrill of sleeping out under the stars amongst wildlife, plus an evening of interactive and hands on wildlife shows, animal encounters, a BBQ, marshmallow toasting over camp fires, and damper making. The Australian Reptile Park is a world renowned hands-on zoo and boasts loads of animal interaction and exciting wildlife shows.

- Hand feed kangaroos in our free range kangaroo area
- Have a close encounter with some of the park’s scaly and furry animals during Snappy Hour which runs 11am-2pm daily.
- Enjoy a walk with visitor favourite Hugo, the giant Galapagos tortoise.
- For those brave enough, see native and exotic reptiles and spiders in our unique exhibits The Lost World of Reptiles and Spider World, featuring Tarantula-ville which is home to some of the largest spiders in Australia!
- Discover how The Australian Reptile Park is helping save the iconic Tasmanian devil with their exciting conservation project, Aussie Ark.
- Have a photo with a snugly python or cuddly koala and create a memory that will last a lifetime!
- Enjoy the children’s adventure playground, cafe and picnic area and free BBQs.
