Losers return for final Stampede!

The final 4 contestants from the popular television series The Biggest Loser recently returned to Glenworth Valley on the NSW Central Coast for the second time this season to take on a 3km version of the challenging Valley Stampede, an annual mud run & obstacle race held in November.

After being put through many rigorous training sessions and gruelling challenges throughout the three months spent at Camp Biggest Loser, the Valley Stampede was the contestant’s final challenge to complete before one is named as the winner of The Biggest Loser 2012.

With their new, leaner physiques and increased fitness this challenge should have been a breeze for the final 4 however this time around there was a unique twist – the contestants had to navigate their way through the course while tied to their trainer. Some of the challenging obstacles contestants were faced with involved jumping into a pit of ice, dragging tyres uphill, zooming along a flying fox across the creek and crawling through thick mud pits which were made all the more challenging by being tied to their trainer. The challenge proved to be one of the toughest yet and tested the abilities of both the contestants and trainers.

The Biggest Loser’s Valley Stampede final challenge episode will air at 7pm on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 on Channel Ten.

The Biggest Loser 2012 centres around four teams of overweight contestants attempting to lose the most weight to win a cash prize. Contestants are pushed to their physical and mental limits with a series of contests, challenges and temptations designed to help them lose weight and turn their lives around. The Biggest Loser 2012 focuses on a group of single contestants on a quest to lose weight, love themselves and find love.
