Come along, for FREE, to see what the Mountain District has to offer! Sit out under the trees or beside one of our THREE live music and entertainment tents, eating yummy food and sipping a great coffee or cool soft drink while watching to a terrific assortment of local talent. We have something for everyone – ukuleles, didgeridoos, acoustic, folk and country singers and bands as well as dancers, clowns and much, much more!
Experience a great day of country fun for the whole family. This year we hope to have an even bigger variety of things to do and see - everything from billy cart races to snake handlers, lambs to lamingtons, pony rides to petting zoos, agility dogs to a performing donkey! We have loads of farm & native animals to touch and feed, farm produce displays, handcrafts, music, fantastic plants from local nurseries for sale, home-made cakes and jams, and... a few surprises thrown in!
Get in touch with your country roots – watching local spinners weave their magic, marvel at the birds…and the bees, and hark back to yesteryear with the amazing steam-driven machinery display.
Children of all ages enjoy themselves – with face-painting, clowns, games, competitions and lots of rides and activities which are unique to our Country Fair.
Enjoy the artistic and imaginative creations on display in our Arts & Crafts hall, where children and adults from all over the Central Coast enter their exhibitions. The Mangrove Mountain Country Fair has been running every year since 1963 as a community fundraiser when locals needed to find funding for the bush nurse - a very valuable source of comfort for Mountain families. Although the bush nurse has long gone, this extremely popular event has continued as a fundraiser for local community groups.
