Unique outdoor activities offering visitors a fresh way of experiencing Australia up in the treetops
TreeTop Adventure Park offers self-guided high-rope courses, which involves climbing through a series of challenging obstacles, such as rope-ladders, wobbly bridges, tunnels and cargo-nets among other things and is interspersed with flying-foxes (zip-lines).
These high-wire activities are progressive and set up to allow everybody to enjoy. People of a very broad age range are offered the chance to experience an adventurous, physical tour of a natural forest in the treetops! The activities allow the whole family to enjoy a fun, healthy bonding experience in a wonderful forest without any special ability or knowledge.
The Children's area is designed for children 3-9 years of age. It includes 4 courses (beginner, easy, medium and difficult). Children's bookings are for a two-hour session of which approximately 30 minutes is used to fit children with harnesses, helmets and their special safety pulley, and explain the safe use of the equipment and the course. For the remaining time (approximately 1.5 hours) the children are welcome to attempt their courses as many time as they like. To participate, a group of children requires supervision by at least one adult who will be watching from the ground the entire time. Adults CANNOT climb on these courses, and are not required to pay.
The Junior/Adult area is made up of 4 courses, which increase in height, difficulty and duration as participant's progress through the levels in order. Once fitted with their safety equipment (helmet, harness, carabineers and pulley), participants attend a training session which includes a practice course. Once they have demonstrated that they are ready to go, they can start their big adventure.
The first 3 courses are available to junior’s who are AT LEAST 10 years of age AND also at least 140cm in height (with shoes on). Junior’s 10-15 years of age require adult supervision on the course in a ratio of 1 adult supervising up to 4 Junior’s. This supervising adult is required to accompany the junior’s on the course for the duration of the climb and will need to be booked and paid for. If the group does not have a participating adult, an instructor can be booked. Juniors and adults are able to attempt the first 3 courses.
The Black course (level 4) is only open to participants 16 years and older. Juniors 16 or 17 years of age do not require adult supervision, but must have an adult sign a waiver form on their behalf. Each course may only be attempted once per visit, in the correct order as specified during the training. The whole experience takes usually about 2 to 3 hours depending on fitness, confidence and course loading.
