Set on 3,000 acres of unspoilt wilderness, Glenworth Valley is just one hour north of Sydney’s CBD.  Australia’s largest outdoor activity centre features horse riding, quad biking, kayaking, abseiling, laser skirmish and much more.

Glenworth Valley is fast becoming one of greater-Sydney’s most popular camping destinations with kilometres of riverfront sites.  Adding to its prestigious reputation, There are two beautiful Eco-Cabins that are perfect for couples and families and Glenworth Valley also runs Australia’s only Bear Gryll’s Survivor Courses. 

Glenworth Valley has won numerous awards for excellence, including the 2014 NSW State Tourism Award (Bronze - Adventure Tourism) and Hall of Fame at the 2014 Hunter Tourism Awards after winning the Adventure Tourism category for three years running.

All activities are suitable for individuals, couples, families, groups or anyone with a love of fun and adventure and are suited to groups both large and small. All activities are suitable for all ability levels, with full instruction provided.

Experience the natural rockpools in the upper reaches of the valley or follow Popran Creek as it meanders its way towards the magnificent Hawkesbury River.

Directions: Travelling from Sydney on the M1: 14km north after the Hawkesbury River Bridge, take the Peats Ridge exit and follow all the signs leading to Peats Ridge. The Glenworth Valley turnoff is 3km off the Peats Ridge Exit;
Travelling from Central Coast on the M1: 2km after the Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge take the Peats Ridge Exit and follow all the signs to Peats Ridge. The Glenworth Valley turnoff is 4km after the Peats Ridge exit.

  • Full payment is required at time of booking via credit card.
  • All bookings are subject to our full terms and conditions and cancellation policy.

 Horse Riding

  • Minimum age is 7 years for trail rides.

Lead Ponies

  • For ages 3 to 7 yrs.
  • For children aged 3 to 5 yrs, 2 adults are required; one to lead the horse and one to walk beside.
  • Up to 2 children can share a lead pony, one at a time, in one or two hour sessions.

Kayaking

  • Minimum age 7 yrs.
  • Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied in a double kayak by an adult on all our tours.
  • Minimum of 4 participants for a tour to proceed.
  • Kayaking at Glenworth Valley on Popran Creek is tidal and departure times are subject to tide levels.

Wine & Seafood Kayak Tour: (Departing Woy Woy)

  • Minimum of 6 participants required for a tour to proceed.
  • Minimum age 12 years
  • Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied in a double kayak by an adult on all our tours.

Quad Biking

  • Minimum age 12 yrs.
  • Minimum of 4 participants for a tour to proceed on a weekend, or Minimum of 2 participants for a tour to proceed on a weekday.
  • Group bookings over 6 people may need to pay a refundable deposit of $500 (subject to terms and conditions). 
  • Online bookings are made through a secure website and we do not have access to your credit cards. Therefore a consultant will contact you to obtain these details.
  • All riders need to pass our assessment test to qualify to go out on our rides. A 50% refund applies to any rider who fails our assessment test.

 Abseiling

  • Minimum age 7 yrs.
  • Minimum of 4 participants for a tour to proceed.

Adventure Packages

  • Participants who do any 2 or more activities on the same or consecutive days as part of an adventure package will receive a 10% discount off the normal purchase price of these activities with a choice of horse riding, kayaking, abseiling, kayaking or fishing. Applies to guided activities only.
  • Adventure package activities cannot be split between different people.
