Tucked away in a stunning valley in the hinterland region of the NSW Central Coast just 15 minutes from Gosford lies Glenworth Valley, a 3000 acre privately owned property and Australia’s largest horse riding and outdoor adventure centre.

All activities are suitable for individuals, couples, families, groups or anyone with a love of fun and adventure and are suited to groups both large and small. All activities are suitable for all ability levels, with full instruction provided.
Explore a diverse range of natural environments, including lush green valleys, open pasturelands, tall eucalypts and impressive rock formations. Experience the natural rockpools in the upper reaches of the valley or follow Popran Creek as it meanders its way towards the magnificent Hawkesbury River.
Extend your stay and experience the ambience of the valley by camping overnight in our picturesque riverside camping grounds.

Directions: Travelling from Sydney on the F3: 14km north after the Hawkesbury River Bridge, take the Peats Ridge exit and follow all the signs leading to Peats Ridge. The Glenworth Valley turnoff is 3km off the Peats Ridge Exit;
Travelling from Central Coast on the F3: 2km after the Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge take the Peats Ridge Exit and follow all the signs to Peats Ridge. The Glenworth Valley turnoff is 4km after the Peats Ridge exit.

Anyone who makes a booking or participates in an activity with us agrees that Glenworth Valley is authorised to communicate with them via electronic marketing means. Customers may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing material or by emailing adventures@glenworth.com.au with unsubscribe as the subject.
Horse Riding
- Minimum age is 7 years for trail rides. (Riders 3-12 years can ride a lead pony)
Lead Ponies
- For ages 3 to 12 yrs.
- For children aged 3 to 5 yrs, 2 adults are required; one to lead the horse and one to walk beside.
- Up to 4 children can share a lead pony, one at a time, in one or two hour sessions.
Kayaking
- Minimum age 7 yrs.
- Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied in a double kayak by an adult on all our tours.
- Minimum of 4 participants for a tour to proceed.
- Kayaking at Glenworth Valley on Popran Creek is tidal and departure times are subject to tide levels.
Wine & Oyster Tasting Kayak Tour: (Departing Woy Woy)
- Minimum of 6 participants required for a tour to proceed.
- Minimum age 12 years
- Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied in a double kayak by an adult on all our tours.
Quad Biking
- Minimum age 12 yrs.
- Minimum of 4 participants for a tour to proceed on a weekend, or Minimum of 2 participants for a tour to proceed on a weekday.
- Because you are hiring equipment from us, each quad bike booking will require a valid credit card number to be provided for security purposes in the event of any damage to the bikes etc (similar to when you hire a car or hotel room).
- Group bookings over 6 people may need to pay a refundable bond (subject to terms and conditions). The bond will be returned less any damage or expenses that may occur.
- Online bookings are made through a secure website and we do not have access to your credit cards. Therefore a consultant will contact you to obtain these details.
- All riders need to pass our assessment test to qualify to go out on our rides. A 50% refund applies to any rider who fails our assessment test.
Abseiling
- Minimum age 7 yrs.
- Minimum of 4 participants for a tour to proceed.
Mountain Biking
- Minimum age 12 yrs.
- Minimum of 6 participants for a tour to proceed.
Adventure Packages
- Participants who do any 2 or more activities on the same or consecutive days as part of an adventure package will receive a 15% discount off the normal purchase price of these activities with a choice of horse riding, kayaking, abseiling, kayaking or fishing. Applies to guided activities only.
- Adventure package activities cannot be split between different people.
Cancellation Policy:
Please be aware that all outdoor adventure activities provided by us are subject to the prevailing weather conditions. Customers accept the risk that weather conditions they consider unsatisfactory may occur on the date booked. Customers are advised that all bookings are subject to our 48 hour cancellation policy below.
- More than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the activity, bookings may be transferred or postponed to another date or activity without penalty.
- More than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the activity, bookings may be cancelled subject to a 20% administration fee applying to any refunds.
- Less than 48 hours prior to the commencement of your activity, bookings may be postponed or transferred to another date however a 50% loss of fees will apply to your existing booking. No loss of fees will occur if 2 additional people are booked in of equivalent value for every 1 person that postpones to another date.
- Less than 48 hours prior to the commencement of your activity, no refunds are available for cancellations or "no shows".
- In the rare event that a booking is cancelled by Glenworth Valley due to continuous heavy rain or on other safety grounds, bookings are transferrable to another date without penalty or are refundable subject to a 20% administration fee.
- The above cancellation policy applies even where a booking is made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the activity.
- Additional private travel insurance covering cancellations and other potential unforseen events is strongly recommended.
