5 Lands Coastal Walkway
Linking the coastal villages of Macmasters Beach, Copacabana, Avoca Beach, North Avoca and Terrigal.
The 5 Lands Coastal Walkway is a spectacular route tracing along some of the Central Coast's most breathtaking coastline.
An important vision of the annual 5 Lands Walk (a cultural festival held each year in June) was the establishment of a permanent signposted walkway, encompassing as much of the coastline and natural environment as is both physically and culturally safe.
This vision was shared by Gosford City Council and the local community, and after a public consultation process, Council approved the 5 Lands Coastal Walkway Master Plan on 7 February 2012.
In the following months, Captain Cook Lookout at Copacabana has been reconfigured to improve the parking area, install a drinking water tap and build a new lookout with disability access. The Walkway also now has distinctive signage (see images above), all including important information and directions.
Please Note: Outside of the 5 Lands Walk event parts of the walk may be inaccessible.
