Mona Vale’s exciting new dive store offering daily dives, retail, PADI courses, air & ex-HMAS Adelaide dives.

Dive Center
Our state-of-the-art showroom is situated in the heart of Mona Vale, on Sydney's Northern Beaches, with easy access and plenty of parking. Filling your tanks couldn't be easier with our 'drive in' fill panel where we have air, nitrox, oxygen and helium available.

An on-site training facility enables us to run all PADI courses for every level of diver from learning to dive in Sydney to instructors. Your course will have a maximum of 4 students and all open water training is conducted from one of our dive boats, 'Deep Blue' which departs from picturesque Careel Bay.
The store offers everything the diver needs, from the latest in Uwatec dive computer technology & Scubapro regulators to the new X-Tec dive systems, wetsuits and the latest in drysuits. Rental equipment includes both alloy and steel tanks, Nitrox computers and the latest dive systems for trial.

Scubamunkies' experienced staff specialise in everything from guided boat dives, all levels of diver training and local and overseas trips to equipment rental, sales and servicing. Our showroom offers a unique and personalised friendly service concentrating on your individual diving needs.

Boat dives depart daily from Careel Bay, on Sydney's northern peninsular, taking small groups of 2-8 divers and an experienced professional dive guide, to wonderful dive sites with an exciting diversity of marine life, wrecks and reefs.
We have Technical dives 3 times a week and conduct all levels of Technical training including Nitrox & Trimix gas blending certifications.

Also running weekly trips to the ex-HMAS Adelaide - just a 30min boat ride away.
  
Currently we are diving the following reefs and wrecks both recreationally and technically:

•Hole-in-the-wall North Avalon - swim throughs, masses of fish!
•Bengally Headland - turtles, stingrays and weedy seadragons
•Little Reef Newport - amazing macro and with a busy and beautiful reef
•North Palm Beach - sponge gardens and beautiful soft corals
•Valiant (26m) - sank 1981. Tug boat, great marine life, wobbegongs, octopus, moray eels, schooling fish * Great night dive!
•Birchgrove Park (50m) - technical dive, king fish, giant cuttle fish wonderful dive
•Tuncurry (60m) - found in 2009 rarely dived, dolphin fish
We also conduct pool dives for children 8-12yrs in a fun and safe environment with a team of professional and patient PADI instructors. A Bubblemakers birthday party is a unique and fun way to introduce the kids into diving. Or why not enrol them in to the PADI Seal Team as an ongoing after-school adventure? Underwater photography and night diving are just 2 of the aqua missions they will experience in the warm and safe environment of the pool.
